Nong Khai Attractions
If you are looking for things to do in Nong Khai, there is enough to easily keep you going for a couple of days, without racing around to cram it all in. The biggest attraction is actually out side the town, called Sala Kaew Ku, which is a site full of statues of a spiritual nature.
The Tha Sadet Market which runs parallel to the Mekong river is somewhere that all visitors end up browsing around, in tandem with a pleasant walk along the waterfront.
Nong Thin Park was not created as a tourist attraction, but a recreational facility. All the same, there are a few points of interest here which help to make for a lovely walk in the early morning or evening.
